Santalum Album, the most desirable and the holy grail of the Sandalwood family, presents a woody, creamy, rich and calming scent. As the trees mature into decades and over a century old, the heartwoods become denser and denser, turning from a brownish orange into a dark brown, and eventually a deep dark brown, evident of the high sandalwood resin content. Only utilizing the most aged and some of the densest heartwoods of Mysore Sandalwood, we present to you the heirloom series. They are either sinking "Black Meat" sandalwood bead in classic shapes and beautifully aromatic, or they might have exceptional figuration and yet possess a close to sinking density. These beads have all textural benefits of "sinking grade sandalwood" and the remarkable fragrance that only the best of sandalwood can offer.

These are 8mm size and a total of 108 beads.

All our precious Kangiiten beads and wearables come in a premium handmade paulownia box that are sourced from a Japanese atelier that has been making such boxes for the imperial palace to store precious items and treasures for centuries.
