龍玄 / Ryusho
Made from some of the finest yellow soil aloeswoods from the Vietnamese/Cambodian regions, this is the ojukukoh (yellow ripe fragrance) sought century after century by the Japanese and Chinese Incense makers, carefully blended with natural white/golden ambergris to achieve the exact balance KZ desires with neither ingredient overwhelming each other . Ambergris was an ingredient well loved and fantasized upon during the Tang and Song Dynasty, where countess scholars and incense makers tried to emulate or invoke the scent of, in a large myriad of blended recipes named after Ambergris, yet never containing the real thing. This marriage of ojukukoh to ambergris, brings to existence the delightful scent that the Chinese literati and nobiliy had yearned for over the past millenium.
Note: Incense sticks with a good percentage of ambergris will turn greyish / powdery white upon ageing, this is a normal ageing process of ambergris.
古音 / Ancient Tones
Made from bead spinning scraps from a single almost sinking grade aloeswood heartwood log from Tarakan. The material, dense, compact, with brown golden streaks within the dark resinated wood. Such grades would have been specifically used for incense ceremonies, and the wood of Tarakan, is the wood of Sasora. These incense sticks are extremely condensed, and to perfumate a small room, only a quick 4-5 second burn will be sufficient to allow for a lingering omnipresent oudy note in the air, Deep, Dark, Bold and Heavy.
松风 / Pine Winds
