An-Tai Koh Incense Powder - Radiant golden sun rays amongst the white pillowy clouds, beaming down onto the lands below. The clouds are so full of moisture captured as hot air rises from the ground, that they are ready to burst any time to nourish the farm land. Trees lush, and their branches full of fruit.
An-Tai Koh is a recipe formulated around Dalbergia Sinensis, other wise known as Hainanese Rosewood / 降香黄檀, which was an extremely important raw material in Taoist Incenses over the millenniums. Rare vintage Hainanese rosewood scraps was milled into a fine powder for use in this incense. The concept of prolonging or stabilizing the state of Tai 泰, is highly desirable in Chinese I-ching philosophy. It speaks of prosperity and goodness. Heavy ingredients, such as vetiver, agarwood, rosewood, descends, and in the process, lighter fragrances from sandalwood, juniper berry, spices etc, then rise through, meeting at midway, creating an air of harmony.
