Some incense compositions are memorable because of the ingredients alone. Others are remembered for the way those ingredients are made to speak. Dreams of Philippines is made by KZ using carefully selected bead-spinning scraps from Philippine agarwood. The material is worked into an incense in a style reminiscent of the blue-box legacy series incenses he was best known for making, where the balance between combustion character and the fragrance associated with monkōh was central to the experience. The aim is to bring two ways of appreciating agarwood into a single stick. There is the character of incense as it burns, and there is the more intimate, fragrant-wood impression that emerges when the material is allowed to reveal its subtler qualities.

The composition depends on their balance.The agarwood used is rare and expensive, and the process of milling and extruding the incense was recently shared in a video reel on Kyarazen's social media.
