Enryakuji Hieizan-Koh 10g

Unburnt state smells rather generic, it smells like the typical spice combination that you find in japanese incense, on the lighter side. No synthetic vibe, a pleasant light resiny woody incense decorated with spices, this is a variation of the Hieizan koh except that this has a resin body and has little to no synthetic presence, so there's none of that white musk vibe unlike the square extruded heizan koh. On burning, This incense is of mid intensity making it very comfortable to use indoors, it does not generate an overbearing scent pressure.  The herbal and spice mix is elegant and airy, making the space feel stoic and sacred. The lingering notes after burning is very light and quiet, as such could be a nice stick for use in meditative practices or in religious practice.
