Japanese Torreya is a colourless, clear, very light and thin essential oil that is hydro-distilled from the fruits of the Japanese Torreya tree that is grown in Zhejiang area in China. The Japanese Torreya tree also produces a wood known as Kaya wood, that is an important wood used for making chessboards/go-ban. This light oil is vapory, the scent gives yellow green vibes, bringing with it fruitiness, kombucha tones, citrus and citron peel, lush green pine needles, a very high pitch oil that can contribute to interesting top notes in a perfume.
