Kumariratana, sourced from the Laem Sing region in Thailand, captivates with its unique profile that is more feminine in presence. Named after the royal consort of King Rama V of Siam who so loved the Namtok Phlio waterfall and its pristine cool waters, Kumariratana (Jewel Young Lady in Thai-Sanskrit) is a sweeter variant compared to Trat Oud, it boasts gourmand qualities, blending nuances of burnt tobacco, a subtle saltiness, and creamy undertones. Rich in sweet woody notes like that of ripe raisins, mangoes and green apples, creating an aroma reminiscent of some Hanainese Oud.
Crafted through traditional copper distillation, this Oud exudes distinctive character and allure. Smooth and velvety despite its age and clean gentle drydown. Limited quantities as this is a one off distillation with the highest oil grade wood that we could secure for this batch.
