This Russian green barrel bracelet is composed of 17 beads measuring 12 × 11.3mm, arranged to highlight a gradual and nuanced shift in green saturation across the strand. Rather than a uniform tone, the material moves subtly from lighter olive translucency into deeper forest-green density, creating a quiet progression that reveals itself only through movement and light.
Each barrel bead is shaped by natural mineral formation, with internal variation that avoids any artificial uniformity. Some beads hold a softer, more open translucence, while others appear denser and more grounded, giving the bracelet an organic rhythm that feels continuous rather than segmented.
The surface is finished in a matte sheen rather than a glossy polish, allowing the jade to retain its natural, stone-like character. This muted finish softens reflections and enhances the material’s internal depth, making the colour transitions more legible while preserving a restrained, tactile elegance.
Worn on the wrist, the piece presents itself quietly—structured but not reflective, expressive but not loud. It is a study in controlled variation, where tone, texture, and finish work together to emphasize natural material presence over surface brilliance.

Nephrite essential information: we are aware that in the trade many people sell their nephrites coated or bathed in mineral oils that allows nephrites, especially pebble materials, to appear glossy and radiantly smooth, but over here at Kangiiten, we offer the nephrites in its original, raw formats, to which you may observe that the surface can be dry, or colour being less intense than usual. The aim is to allow you to wear it and allow it to respond to human contact, warmth, to which it will quickly develop a delightful natural patina, in the process of 人养玉. So fret not if the nephrite surfaces appear dry upon receipt, we just do not want to coat or bath our jades in mineral oils.
