Subitism Burner · Modern Mon-Kōh Device
A new chapter in contemporary incense ritual begins here—where heat replaces flame, and control replaces chance. This latest-generation Subitism burner, inspired by Kyarazen’s original vision, is conceived for practitioners who seek clarity of scent, fidelity of material, and silence in operation.
At its heart lies a precision-calibrated heating core, gliding smoothly from 0°C to 370°C (32°F to 698°F). This controlled ascent allows fragrant woods and resins to reveal themselves in stages—top notes first, then body, then depth—without scorching or distortion. At higher temperatures, certain dense resins and aged woods may yield richer vapor and visible smoke, not as combustion, but as a natural expression of concentrated aromatic oils meeting sustained heat.
Encased in a warm wooden body measuring 12 × 12 × 8 cm, the burner balances portability with presence. It is compact enough for personal ritual, yet visually grounded—an object that belongs as much on a scholar’s desk in a study or in an intimate setting your very bedroom.
Each unit is delivered as a complete ritual set: premium mica discs, precision tweezers, mesh holder, power adapter—every element selected to ensure an effortless, uninterrupted aromatic experience from the first ignition of heat. This is not merely a device, but an instrument—a modern heir to the art of listening to wood and resin, refined for today yet faithful to tradition.
