Toji-Koh 10g

This is a very complex incense stick and perhaps by far one of the most sophisticated temple incense sticks so far. In its scent profile you find the intertwining of two lines of scent, one, being the masterfully compounded “Nerikoh” fermented incense note that is supported by the traditional granulated incense foundation of sandalwood, aloeswood, clove, borneol and other spices. But yet underlying this is a modern twist, a deep, airy, “smell of the rain” like petrichor note that lends to this incense an unparallel depth. Light it in a quiet space, and you will find the air being filled with different façades of emotions, from the wabi-sabi to nostalgic dusk, to the tranquility of a temple hall, rendering this incense very fascinating.
