Drawn from bead-spinning remnants of highly selected Tarakan beccariana, this material carries the unmistakable signature of northern Kalimantan—cool, slightly mentholated, and expansively diffusive, interwoven with a transition into rich, measured sweetness. In Chinese classification, this would be considered 正区—an “exact origin” profile, unmistakably representative of true Tarakan forest character.
Even in scrap form, the wood reveals remarkable refinement: green leaf brightness, soft creaminess, and a vanillic sweetness, all supported by a gentle resinous core. When heated, it opens cleanly and diffuses with surprising reach, filling space without weight.
